Two Belgian teenagers and two other men from Kenya and Vietnam were charged with wildlife piracy for trafficking thousands of ants, primarily the messor cephalotes species, from Kenya to European and Asian markets. The four suspects were arrested in Nakuru county and Nairobi, with over 5,000 ants found in test tubes filled with cotton wool.
