💨 Abstract
"A 20-year-old woman suffered minor injuries from what is believed to be a juvenile shark bite at Jones Beach State Park on Long Island. The incident occurred while she was in waist-deep water, and she was treated for non-life-threatening cuts. Experts suspect a juvenile sand tiger shark based on injury analysis. Swimming was briefly suspended but resumed after a thorough check of the water."
