💨 Abstract

An endangered Przewalski’s horse foal named Marat, born almost two months ago, survived a severe illness and was rejected by his mother, Nady. Fortunately, Alice, a domestic Pony of the Americas who had recently lost her own foal, accepted and adopted him. Healthcare workers hailed it as one of the first successful surrogacies in Asian wild horses. The zoo is carefully integrating Marat into the wild herd.
