💨 Abstract
As global temperatures rise, scientists are studying how climate change affects bees, which are crucial for pollination. Bees adapt to heat by reducing activity, but this hinders their ability to gather nectar, mate, and produce honey. Heat stress also weakens their disease resistance and ability to gather food. Additionally, habitat loss, pesticides, and diseases contribute to bee declines. Higher bee losses have been reported in the U.S., threatening pollination of crops.
