💨 Abstract
Researchers' annual wolf-moose survey on Isle Royale, Michigan, was canceled this past winter due to a pilot's last-minute medical issue, preventing the aerial survey from taking place. This is the third disruption in five years, with previous cancellations due to COVID-19 and unsafe ice conditions.
