💨 Abstract
Two Arlington, DC, schools, Abingdon and Hoffman-Boston, will lose their Title I designation in the fall, affecting their federal funding and benefits. Title I schools receive extra federal funding for staff and programs like free meals and books. The change is due to a decrease in the eligible student population, possibly related to COVID-era waivers expiring.
