💨 Abstract
Roston Chase, a 33-year-old all-rounder, has been named the new West Indies test captain, despite a two-year hiatus from test cricket. He succeeds Kraigg Brathwaite, who resigned in March. Chase will lead the team in three home tests against Australia in June and July. Known for his off-spin bowling and middle-order batting, Chase has 85 test wickets and over 2,200 runs, including five centuries.
