💨 Abstract
On June 6, 1944, nearly 160,000 Allied troops landed in Normandy, France, in a significant event of WWII known as D-Day. On this date, the YMCA was also founded in 1844, the first drive-in theater opened in 1933, and the first Little League Baseball game was played in 1939.
