💨 Abstract
Jacob deGrom, the Texas Rangers' ace, delivered a strong performance against the Orioles, striking out six and allowing two runs over six innings, to help his team win 10-2. This marked his 17th start this season and extended his streak of 14 consecutive starts with at least five innings pitched and two runs or fewer allowed. DeGrom's comeback from elbow surgery has been impressive, with noticeable confidence boosting the Rangers' morale.
