The Trump administration has reached a temporary agreement with China to lower tariffs on imports, effective May 15, 2025. Key changes include reducing the tariff on low-value parcels from China to 54%, maintaining a $100 flat rate per package, and cutting general import taxes from 145% to 30%. China also lowered its tariffs on U.S. goods to 10%.
