đź’¨ Abstract
The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments has launched a new dashboard to centralize and track crime data across the region, from Washington D.C. to various counties in Maryland. The dashboard, which updates at varying frequencies depending on the department, allows users to compare crime trends across different jurisdictions. It aims to help jurisdictions reduce crime and address public misperceptions by providing a comprehensive, regional view of crime statistics.
