💨 Abstract
The Adams Memorial Foundation is pushing for a memorial to honor the Adams family, including President John Adams, Abigail Adams, and John Quincy Adams. The proposed memorial, located in President’s Park near the White House, aims to be a “New England-ish library and garden.” Bipartisan legislation has been introduced in Congress to authorize land for the memorial, which is expected to take 7-12 years to complete. The foundation is seeking donations and public support for the project.
