💨 Abstract
In the midst of a heat wave on Capitol Hill, the Summerhouse, an open hexagon-shaped historic structure, offers respite with a cool, bubbling fountain that drops temperatures by about 20°F. Originally providing drinking water, it now features three modern drinking fountains, while the central fountain now only for display. Visitors like Julio Ndaogmo, Alexa Bautista, and Ariana Lopez praise its cooling effect.
