💨 Abstract
To combat summer hunger among students, the D.C. government launched the D.C. Youth Meals program, offering free meals at various sites from June 23 to August 24 without requiring ID or applications. Additionally, the D.C. Sun Bucks program provides $120 cards to purchase food, and the DCPS Summer Food Service Program serves free breakfast and lunch at summer school sites for youth under 18. These initiatives aim to fill the nutrition gap during school holidays.
