💨 Abstract
WTOP celebrated Pride Month by highlighting key figures, places, and issues in the D.C. area's LGBTQ+ communities. WorldPride D.C., a three-week festival, attracted millions to the nation’s capital. Angel Creek, from Chicago, and Venus Burrell, from Howard University, enjoyed the event’s vibrant fashion and local businesses.
