đź’¨ Abstract
A $900 billion Pentagon spending bill passed by the U.S. House is facing criticism from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) chair, Jennifer Homendy, who argues that it weakens safety reforms implemented after a fatal crash near Reagan National Airport. The bill includes exceptions allowing military helicopters to fly without using ADS-B technology, which helps prevent collisions. Homendy and several senators oppose this, citing safety concerns and the need for stricter regulations.
