💨 Abstract

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) has discontinued its women's tennis program due to increasing costs. The school aims to allocate more funds towards its remaining athletic programs and create opportunities for female athletes, citing upcoming changes in college athletics, such as revenue sharing and roster caps. UTEP does not have an on-campus tennis facility and will honor scholarships for players who choose to stay at the school.
