Tufts University student Rumeysa Ozturk, from Turkey, returned to Boston after being released from a Louisiana immigration detention center where she was held for over six weeks. Ozturk's detention followed an op-ed she co-wrote criticizing her university's response to Israel and the Gaza war. A judge ordered her release, stating there was no evidence for her arrest beyond the op-ed.
