💨 Abstract
A student from Jerry Hinn's Health and Medical 101 class at Fairfax County Public Schools' Adult and Community Education (ACE) successfully transitioned into Northern Virginia Community College’s nursing program, crediting the course for her understanding of medical terms and becoming a certified nurse aide. The course, starting this fall, offers 15 three-hour sessions on Saturdays, aiming to give high school students and recent graduates an edge in medical careers by building confidence and communication skills.
