💨 Abstract
A federal judge temporarily halted President Donald Trump's proclamation banning incoming foreign students from attending Harvard University. Issued earlier, the proclamation was part of efforts to limit Harvard’s international student population, which significantly contributes to its research and scholarship. Harvard had initially filed a legal challenge, asserting the ban was illegal retaliation for its refusal to comply with White House demands and Democrats. The university also said the President was attempting to bypass a previous court order.
