Back-to-school shopping is approaching, and many parents are looking to save money amidst inflation. Senir Industry Analyst Ted Rossman advises setting a budget and involving children in the process to teach financial literacy. He also suggests checking for existing supplies at home, delaying non-essential purchases, and utilizing hand-me-downs or "Buy Nothing" groups for clothing. Additionally, Rossman recommends stacking retailer discounts with rewards credit cards and taking advantage of sales tax holidays in Maryland and Virginia.
