A parent, Jacob Lee Bard, has been charged with murder after a shooting at Kentucky State University that killed one student, De’Jon Fox, and critically injured another. The incident occurred at Whitney M. Young Jr. Hall, marking the second shooting near the residence in four months. Bard, from Evansville, Indiana, was arrested immediately by university police. The motive remains unclear, and the university is evaluating additional safety measures.
