Police in Brookline, Massachusetts, are intensifying their search for a suspect in the fatal shooting of Nuno Loureiro, a 47-year-old MIT physicist and fusion scientist, who was killed at his home on Monday night. The investigation is ongoing with no suspects in custody. Loureiro, who led MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, was known for his contributions to clean energy technology.
