💨 Abstract

The article discusses the ongoing legal actions in Cyprus against individuals accused of illegally profiting from Greek Cypriot properties in the Turkish-controlled north. Four people, including a Ukrainian, German, and two Israelis, are currently in custody facing charges related to the illegal use and sale of these properties. Cyprus is taking a strong stance to halt the large-scale construction of villas and apartments on Greek Cypriot land, which defies decisions by the EU and European Court of Human Rights.
