💨 Abstract
Germany is set to increase its minimum wage by about 14% over the next 18 months, rising to 13.90 euros in early 2026 and 14.60 euros a year later. This decision, made by a commission including employers and labor unions, aims to address economic stagnation and public expectations. The current minimum wage is 12.82 euros per hour.
