💨 Abstract
Fairfax County's largest school district is providing free mental wellness consultations this summer. Until August 1, parents and students in middle and high school can book 45-minute virtual sessions with school social workers and psychologists. The program, offered for nearly 20 years, aims to combat summer isolation and connect families with mental health support. Sessions focus on family dynamics, peer interactions, and improving student focus. Over 80% of participants are parents.
