đ¨ Abstract
Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope, met with top-ranked tennis player Jannik Sinner in Rome on his day off from the Italian Open which plays later this week. Sinner hopes to win this week and become the first Italian man to win the Rome tournament since 1976. Leo is a tennis enthusiast and had humorously joked against inviting Sinner for a match. Sinner responded positively, noting the new pope's fondness for tennis.
