💨 Abstract
An IT specialist for the Defense Intelligence Agency, Nathan Vilas Laatsch, was arrested and charged with attempting to transmit classified information to a foreign government. Laatsch, 28, planned to give sensitive records to an undercover FBI agent posing as a foreign official. He expressed disalignment with the U.S. administration's values and sought citizenship in the foreign nation.
