💨 Abstract

If you use the Microsoft Authenticator app, be aware that it will stop managing passwords and delete stored ones on August 1, 2025. Microsoft is shifting to passkeys, a more secure login method using biometrics, PINs or digital patterns. Although passkeys offer enhanced security, setting them up individually for each service can be cumbersome. Microsoft advises using the system's Edge browser for password management after August 1.
