💨 Abstract
A federal appeals court has blocked a "click-to-cancel" rule designed to make it easier for consumers to end unwanted subscriptions. The rule was supposed to require companies to allow customers to cancel subscriptions as easily as they started them, but it was vacated due to a procedural error. Despite this, consumers can manage subscriptions by setting reminders for trial periods, reviewing credit card statements, and using apps like Rocket Money and Trim to track and cancel unwanted subscriptions.
