💨 Abstract
Paris introduced public swimming in the Seine, banned since 1923. The city cleaned the river for 2024 Olympics, and three sites opened in July. Despite rain closures, over 40,000 have swum, enjoying views of the Eiffel Tower. Testing and lifeguards ensure safety, with buoys mandatory for swim. Sites close temporarily due to rain-induced pollution.
