💨 Abstract
A woman, Kai Deberry-Bostick, 28, drove her car through barricades and into a crowded Main Street Festival in Laurel, Maryland, despite police orders to stop. Body camera footage shows her arguing with an officer, pushing him with her car, and driving through festival attendees. No one was injured, but Deberry-Bostick faces multiple charges, including assault on an officer and resisting arrest. She remains in custody with a trial set for July 18.
