💨 Abstract

The article focuses on the role of school bus drivers in maintaining student safety. Drivers are the first and last to interact with students daily and can identify changes in behavior that may indicate problems. The article also highlights concerns about parent behavior, such as attempting to board buses. School systems have distributed guidelines reminding parents of appropriate conduct and warning of penalties for interfering with bus operations. Additionally, drivers are trained to handle school bus stop arms properly and manage parent interactions calmly.
