đź’¨ Abstract
The Montgomery County Animal Services in Derwood, Maryland, urgently needs volunteers to foster dogs. The shelter's air conditioning broke, leaving nearly 300 animals, including 120 dogs, in a uncomfortably hot environment with temperatures nearing 100°. The shelter is particularly concerned about dogs with flat faces and older dogs. Fostering is expected to last about 4-5 days while repairs are made. The shelter will provide necessary supplies and veterinary care.
