đ¨ Abstract
A middle school in Bethesda, Maryland, was closed on Monday due to structural damage caused by a fallen tree during weekend storms. Westland Middle School sustained damage to 18 classrooms, making the building unsafe for students and staff. The school system is working to remove the tree and will provide an update on plans for Tuesday, the last day of classes before summer.
