đź’¨ Abstract
An Alaska Native man, Marvin Roberts, who spent nearly two decades in prison for a 1997 murder, has agreed to an $11.5 million settlement with the city of Fairbanks, alleging racial bias by police. This is the last settlement in the case of the so-called Fairbanks Four, after their murder convictions were vacated in 2015.
