California-raised singer-songwriter Jensen McRae released a song "Immune" in 2021, inspired by a COVID-19 vaccine line joke she made about Phoebe Bridgers. The song preluded McRae's debut EP and album, which led to touring gigs and a record label signing with the same label as Bridgers.
