NASA's Lucy spacecraft has transmitted images of an irregular, bowling pin-shaped asteroid larger than anticipated, during its recent flyby. The asteroid, named Donaldjohanson, is about 5 miles long and 2 miles wide. Lucy passed within 600 miles of this asteroid in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
