💨 Abstract
Texas prosecutors dropped charges against conservative activist Dr. Steven Hotze, who was accused of being involved in a baseless voter fraud conspiracy. Hotze, 74, was charged with planning an assault on an air conditioner repairman in 2020. The incident involved a former Houston police officer, Mark Aguirre, who claimed the repairman had fraudulent ballots. Prosecutors found only air conditioning parts in the repairman's truck.
