💨 Abstract
James Talbot, a former Catholic priest convicted of sexually assaulting boys, died on February 28, 2025, at 87. He was exposed by the investigation featured in the movie "Spotlight." Talbot was convicted in 2018 for assaulting a 9-year-old boy in Maine and had previously served six years in prison for assaulting students in Boston. He had settled lawsuits with multiple victims.
