💨 Abstract
In 2025, former Georgia police officer Robert “Chip” Olsen, 63, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for fatally shooting unarmed Anthony Hill, a 26 year-old Black Air Force veteran with bipolar disorder and PTSD in 2015. Olsen was sentenced to 15 years, with 12 years already served and the rest on probation, plus 100 hours of community service.
