💨 Abstract

On May 28, 2025, immigrant rights advocates protested in San Francisco against the Trump administration's deportation tactics, which included ICE agents arresting migrants at courthouses. Eight people were arrested in San Francisco and Contra Costa County courthouses, targeting asylum-seekers. Advocates urged immigrants to attend their court dates, offering legal and volunteer support, despite the fear caused by these arrests. ICE's actions seem aimed at deterring immigrants from appearing in court.
