💨 Abstract
A 19-year-old inmate, Tra’Von Johnson, escaped from the Tangipahoa Parish Jail in Louisiana for the second time in a year. Johnson was awaiting trial for a home invasion that resulted in a fatality and injury to a child. He escaped around 4:30 p.m. Thursday with the help of another inmate. The jail has a history of escapes due to manpower shortages, inadequate training, and insufficient supervision.
