💨 Abstract
Pratt & Whitney, the jet engine maker, has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing about 3,000 machinists in Connecticut, who have been on strike since May 4. The union members are scheduled to vote on the revised contract offer on May 27 and must decide if the offer meets their needs to end the strike.
