A woman has sued former Los Angeles Lakers player and coach Byron Scott, alleging he sexually assaulted her in 1987 at her high school during a team event. The lawsuit, filed in 2022 and amended on May 1, accuses Scott of sexual battery and false imprisonment when he was 26 and she was 15. Scott's attorney contends that he believed the victim was of legal age.
