💨 Abstract
A 19-year-old, Kentrell Flowers, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to carjack a vehicle occupied by two U.S. Marshals Service deputies protecting Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Flowers, then 18, was shot by a deputy after pointing a loaded gun at them. He will also face five years of supervised release.
