💨 Abstract
Joseph Neumeyer, a dual U.S. and German citizen, was arrested for attempting to firebomb the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv on May 19. Neumeyer, from Colorado, was stopped by a guard, fled, and was later arrested at a nearby hotel. He had traveled through Canada and made threatening social media posts prior to the attempted attack, which occurred during Israel's ongoing conflict in Gaza.
