Japan's private lunar lander, Resilience, has entered lunar orbit and is preparing for a touchdown in early June. This follows successful lunar landings by American companies Firefly Aerospace and Intuitive Machines. ispace's first lunar lander crashed in 2023. The Resilience lander carries a mini rover for lunar dirt analysis and other experiments.
