A lightning strike at Dominion Beach Park, South Carolina, resulted in 12 people being hospitalized, mostly children. The strike hit near a metal cable in the swimming area. Injuries were minor, including small burns, with all patients expected to recover. The park will reopen Wednesday. The incident is described as "a bolt from the blue" as the storm was not overhead.
