💨 Abstract

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has approved a $500 million bill for renovations to Chase Field, the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The funds, from sales tax revenue, will cover upgrades including improvements to air conditioning and the retractable roof. The baseball team will also contribute $250 million. The bipartisan legislation aims to ensure the Diamondbacks stay in Phoenix, where attendance has increased following their 2023 World Series run.
